Southampton Art Gallery is hosting the second part of an exhibit by its founder, Bert Henderson until August 26th.
The exhibit opened on August 16th with Bert Henderson in attendance. Also among those in attendance was Dr. David Richardson, whom Henderson had painted as a young man in 1957.
Among the paintings on exhibit is ‘Summer on the River’ painted in 2005. “This is something I remember doing as a young boy,” said Henderson. “We used to go swimming in the Pottawatami River every summer.”
