Thanks in part to the coverage provided by Saugeen Times – https://saugeentimes.com/renewal-of-the-southampton-community-cenotaph/ the support for the renewal of the Southampton Cenotaph has been heartening.
As the gap closes between the estimated cost and the generous pledges of Saugeen Shores Town Council along with the Southampton 150th Anniversary Legacy Fund, and the Southampton Rotary Club, among other organizations and individual donors, perhaps a donation in honour or memory of a loved one could be a perfect Christmas gift or a resolution for the New Year!
