After a long two-year hiatus due to COVID, the Marine Heritage Society Festival in Southampton is back. It is officially celebrating its 10th Festival Anniversary on July 22nd to 24th.
An appreciation BBQ hosted by the Marine Heritage Society and Rotary Club of Saugeen Shores and sponsored by Foodland was held for sponsors, media and town staff on Friday at Pioneer Park at Southampton Harbour.
Captain Wayne Sparrow and his wife, Mrs. Sparrow, co-Chairs of the Festival were on hand to greet everyone along with Saugeen Shores Mayor Luke Charbonneau.
