There has been some confusion about the upcoming Santa Parade to be held in Southampton this weekend (Dec.. 2nd, 2022).
In speaking with Santa’ elves this morning (Nov. 28th), it has been clarified that Santa will be arriving in Southampton on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 2nd at 7:00 p.m. A previous poster indicated otherwise but was incorrect.
Rotary Club of Saugeen Shores will also still be hosting the FREE BBQ with hot apple cider from 5:00 p.m. until parade start at 7:00 p.m.
The route this year will also be somewhat shorter as floats and participants will gather at Victoria St. North. In previous years, the parade began on Grey St., however, with Saugeen Memorial Hospital at that location and the possibility of ambulance arrivals, it was decided to move the ‘mustering’ location to Victoria St. to avoid congestion in the hospital location.
