Stepping back in time at the Bruce County Museum is sometimes more fun

While today’s world revolves around technology, sometimes stepping back in time is more fun.

At the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre on Thursday, August 4th, visitors enjoyed trips through the First Nations Anishinaabe gallery and a chance to watch a master at wood turning.

Wood turner, Norm Bouchard created ‘spinner’s’, a toy that children have enjoyed for hundreds of years and Olivia and Hugh Coburn were no exception.  They watched in fascination as Bouchard created the spinners and the brother and sister chose their favourite colours at the end of the wood turning.
