It was a blustery day but that didn’t stop activities in Tara.
The Fire Service held its open house as part of Fire Prevention Week where young and the young-at-heart could clamber aboard the fire trucks and learn how all the equipment works and then enjoy a BBQ lunch.
Just down the road from the fire hall, were the 1st Tara Guides and Pathfinders who were out for their annual cookie sale. “We normally have gone to Paisley and Sauble Beach,” said guide leader Leanne Jarl, “but thought we would try Tara this year.”
In the Community Centre, it was the annual Tara Craft Fair with over 140 vendors and hundreds of visitors taking advantage of the wide variety of products in time for Christmas shopping.
