SouthPort Church is hosting a certification day course called “The Working Mind”. The mental health course will be taught by Dr. Gerry Tonn and is being made available at a very reduced cost thanks to a grant (with lunch!).
The Working Mind course provides a set of clear, every-day-language observations anyone can use to monitor their own mental health and that of those around them. It also provides strategies for addressing mental health challenges, all based upon the Mental Health Continuum Model (see colour chart https://mentalhealthcommission.ca/training/twm/.)
