Time to say good-bye to an iconic business

Tomorrow, October 31st, is the last day to say goodbye to 35 years of Harrigan’s 100 Mile Food Market as owners, Mary Ellen and Dave Harrigan, step in to retirement.

There will be a ‘come and go’ throughout the afternoon for everyone who wants to wish the couple farewell.

The quaint country style grocery store has met the needs of the community – for deliciously delectable sandwiches that Mary Ellen has become known for; for her catering special events; for answering the needs of hot Meals on Wheels; for the homemade baking and famous butter tarts and for all those last minute shopping items.

It is the closing of another chapter on High Street in Southampton.
