Thomas George Kelly of Southampton, and formerly of Orangeville, passed away peacefully at the age of 80 with family by his side at the Grey Bruce Regional Health Centre, Owen Sound on Monday, November 26, 2018.
Beloved husband for almost 50 years to Elizabeth “Betty” Kelly. Loving father of Kevin and his wife Christy and Shannon and her husband Sean Peseski. Proud Grandad of Dawson and Liam. Survived by his brothers Bobby and Dave, and his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, George & Helen, by his sister Kay, and by his brothers Reg, Al, and Joe.
Tom was a proud and dedicated employee of CN Rail for over 40 years and enjoyed supporting local minor hockey in Orangeville and Saugeen Shores. Tom will always remain the Peterborough Petes #1 fan.
He was also involved in Saugeen Shores Senior Games and was thrilled to win a simple Tim Hortons’ coffee voucher.
Tom also took it upon himself to ‘tidy up’ Rotary Perkins Park adjacent to his home in Southampton and was always ‘on top’ of what needed to be done there.
Visitation at the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton on Wednesday November 28, 2018 from 5:30 – 8 p.m. A Private family service and interment at Southampton Cemetery will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tom’s favorite charity, The Liv a Little Foundation, www.livalittlefoundation.com .
