Every Friday, starting today July 31st to September 4th, the public can find a new post on the Town’s social media channels and website and media outlets.

The goals of this annual campaign are:

  • to inform the community about share-the-road rules, laws and trail etiquette
  • to educate by creating awareness, sharing resources and information
  • to promote active transportation, encouraging people to get out on their bikes.

“All road and trail users play a critical role in keeping these spaces safe for everyone to enjoy,” said Mayor Luke Charbonneau. “Together we can demonstrate our designation as a bike-friendly community by showing mutual respect on our roads and trails.”

The public is also invited to share their biking photos with @SaugeenShoresON on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtags #SSBikeFriendlyFriday and #ExploretheShore.
