It was a full house for the Southampton Concert Band’s holiday concert, ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’, held at Southampton Town Hall on Saturday, December 16th.
From traditional Christmas music to newer selections not often heard, the band played a wide variety of music, but all centered around the holiday season.
Also, throughout the music selections, were sprinkled solos.
Dave Spaetzel, a band member of the brass section, performed a charming vocal selection, ‘Santa wants a Tuba for Christmas’.
In addition, vocalist from Kincardine, Elaine Slade, presented a reading, the popular ‘The Night Before Christmas’.
