Volunteers step up to make the return of the Community Supper a resounding success

It was all dependant on the number of volunteers and, with some 50 responding to help out, the Community Suppers have returned to Bevan Hall at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Southampton.

“I am thrilled with the response from the community,” said Doug Goar.  “The suppers are also a chance for people to simply get together and enjoy each other’s company over a delicious meal.”

The first supper kick-off was held on Wednesday, January 11th with a full-house in attendance.  Neighbours and friends came together and, by donation, enjoyed a delicious spaghetti dinner complete with Caesar salad, garlic bread and fresh homemade apple crumble dessert.
