Volunteers will be on the hunt for the invasive species

Saugeen Rail Trail volunteers will be out again tomorrow, Saturday (May 28), to try to eradicate as much wild mustard as possible.

The invasive species is one of the most aggressive forest invaders in Ontario that threatens several of Ontario’s plant species at risk, including American ginseng, drooping trillium, false rue-anemone, hoary mountain mint, white wood aster, wild hyacinth and wood poppy.

For anyone who wants to help, the group will begin at Mill Street on the Rail Trail and move northward from 10:00 a.m. until noon.
