To the Editor:
Are our council members not somewhat ashamed by the condition of the Southampton public washroom, which is a shared facility with Gerry’s Fries? Not too sure what is in the tank.

Where are the members of council who were elected by the Southampton taxpayers to look after taxpayers local interests? Also recognizing that the Port Elgin public washroom is part of a shared town facility.

Last year, a recommendation was given regarding the rental, unhygienic portable washrooms located at the Southampton beach, South Street and also at Bay Street. Well they are back again, also elsewhere. Only apparent feedback from town is a “wash hands often” sign located on #21 highway.
