To the Editor:
Regarding the revitalization plan for Port Elgin Beach.
The original concept plan, submitted March 12th, WAS within the RFP site plan and Mr. Donnini wrote, “Our proposal not only revitalizes a centre piece property but addresses the following: Point #9 – Will not require the upheaval of moving the zone in question closer to the water therefore maintaining the parking which the community has become accustomed to.”
Even Mr. Donnini, at that time, recognized that moving the plan to the waterfront was going to cause upheaval to the community. How did this get changed so drastically by July 22nd when it was finally presented to the public?
