Fans may have noticed a long flowing mane of hair behind the Winterhawks bench in the last few years.It belongs to Saugeen Shores Winterhawks Assistant Coach, Jeff Barfoot.
It’s now time for the flowing locks to come off, and they might as well come off for a good cause.
Jeff is raising money to benefit Wigs for Kids, and his shorn mane will be made into a wig for young cancer patients.
We want Jeff to lose the hair too but at our home game opener on October 6th. We can only do it though if we hit the fundraising goal!
