Look no further for that perfect gift! The Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre is having a seat sale.
Take part in the Museum’s Have a Seat Campaign by making a $150 donation this holiday season and receive a personalized plaque on your seat of choice and a charitable tax receipt for the full amount.
“A seat in the Museum’s theatre makes a great gift,” says Museum Director Cathy McGirr. “It’s a wonderful way to honour your family or someone special, to mark an anniversary, memorialize someone no longer with you, or even recognize a service club or business.”
The Museum’s 108-seat theatre is a popular, well-used space that is busy year-round with events, meetings, movies and more. Launched early this year, the seat campaign is a one-time campaign, once you purchase your seat it won’t be available again.
Already proving to be a popular gift, many people have purchased a seat this season. “Last summer, my husband’s father continued his tradition and proudly took his greatgranddaughters to The Bruce County Museum. It offers so many opportunities for all ages and we knew a seat in his honour was the perfect gift,” said Vivian Walker.
All funds raised by the ‘Have a Seat Campaign’ will go where they are needed most, including to support the archival and permanent collections and to reach even more students, families and adults through dynamic and creative programming.
To purchase your seat today, go to the Donate tab at www.brucemuseum.ca, or speak to Development Officer Maria Canton at 519-797-2080 or mcanton@brucecounty.on.ca.
