When he learned that Wesley United Church had been burned due to arson, Isaac Pedonoquot, originally of Saugeen First Nation, decided he had to take action.
It was a cold, blustery day on October 30th, when he climbed aboard his bike and pedalled from Cambridge-Guelph to Saugeen First Nation, a distance of some 175 km.
He raised $350 which, upon arrival, he donated to the Church fund in the event that it is re-built.
