2020 a first drive-by Santa parade for Saugeen Shores in Port Elgin

The weather cooperated but, due to COVID-19, Santa’s parade had to be different this year.

Instead of spectators lining the street watching the floats pass by as in past years, hundreds of vehicles lined up for the first drive-by Santa parade.

The first of two parades, that will be held in Saugeen Shores this year, was held in Port Elgin on Saturday evening, November 28th at 7:00 p.m.

The drive-by began at Devonshire Rd. and wound its way along Bruce Street ending at Joseph Street where Santa waited.

The second of the two parades will be held next Friday, December 4th in Southampton (Saugeen Shores) where the drive-by will take place on Victoria Street from Clarendon St. to High Street passing by the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre.
