With 32 artists in 20 locations, the 23rd Annual Studio Tour by the Shoreline Artists’ ‘Waves of Inspiration’ promises to be the most exciting yet and it all starts tomorrow, Saturday July 6th from Saugeen Shores to Sauble and Tara.
The artists work in a wide variety of mediums from vibrant watercolours to textured acrylic, pencil and soft chalk drawings to flowing form jewelery, chainsaw carvings to encaustic wax creations, painting with fabric and hot bees wax and oil to beautiful carved bowls from natural tree burls and pottery.
When it comes to art, it is very subjective and everyone is often drawn to a certain technique, medium or style. The Studio Tour is the opportunity to explore what you may be missing in your art collecting.
The Tour has been divided into five Art Zones to make it more convenient to explore. New this year however, is also the chance to win a $100 Shoreline Artists gift certificate. Pick up an Art Zones entry form at any studio on the tour and have the studio artists sign your form. At your last Art Zone, give he entry form complete with your email to the last Studio visited. The winner will be announced within one week following the Tour by either Email and/or Facebook. To qualify, studios in all five Art Zones must be visited.

Waves of Inspiration Show & Sale: August 16 – Wine & Cheese Opening – 7pm to 9pm; August 17 – 10am to 4pm; August 18 – 10am to 4pm at The Club at Westlinks, Port Elgin
Christmas at the Links: November 2 – 10am to 4pm at The Club at Westlinks, Port Elgin
