Chantry Island Cham-bettes support Add Water Campaign

Chantry Island Cham-bettes have again reached and surpassed their FUNdraising goal for their annual Christmas Tour of Homes.

Each year, the philanthropic group of women fundraise for a wide variety of community projects while injecting the word FUN into FUNdraising.  From plant sales to the popular ‘Sharecrow’ food drive to the Christmas ornaments sale, and to the Christmas Tour of Homes, the Cham-bettes have been raising funds for some 70 years.

The Home tour this year held in November, was the  most successful yet with some 1,000 people visiting the local seven homes selected for 2024 and decorated for the holiday season.

The 2024 tour proceeds have been divided between the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation (SMHF) and the Saugeen Shores Aquatic and Wellness Centre (AWC), with each receiving $13,450.
