Visitors tap in to their creative side at Bruce County Museum

The Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre in Southampton was a beehive of activity over the Winter school break. .

On Saturday morning, December 28th, it was all about birdhouses as some 50 children and their parents had the chance to build and paint birdhouses to take home.

The activity was part of the For the Birds: Upcycled Bird Palaces Exhibit that opened on December 14th.

Exquisite folk-art birdhouses/palaces were created by Dr. Graeme Chalmers and now line the walls of the downstairs exhibit gallery, each unique and colourful until April 30th (2025).
