7ACRES (the “Company”), a division of The Supreme Cannabis Company Inc. and one of Canada’s leading federally licensed High End Cannabis™ producers, today (March 20th) announced it is preparing to occupy additional space within its hybrid greenhouse by transplanting approximately 9,000 cannabis plant clones into 30,000 sq ft of recently licensed grow rooms on March 23, 2019.

The additional production space, previously announced on January 28, 2019, will increase 7ACRES current flowering capacity to approximately 17,500 kgs and 120,000 sq ft of licenced production space. In preparation for this large-scale expansion project, 7ACRES has hired 495 full-time greenhouse employees and contracted approximately 250 construction and support staff. On an annual basis, 7ACRES will also be investing approximately $70,000 into local community programs and events.

“Each newly licenced production space at the 7ACRES hybrid greenhouse moves us one step closer to achieving our vision of becoming one of Canada’s leading suppliers of High End Cannabis™,” said John Fowler, President and Founder of The Supreme Cannabis Company Inc.

“We maintain the high standards in every decision we make, while innovating and improving procedures and policies for growing. Not only were we able to grow High End Cannabis™ at scale, but we also tripled our workforce and rapidly expanded infrastructure. A moment that makes me incredibly proud of the team we have built here at 7ACRES,” said Ram Davloor, General Manager of 7ACRES.

Upon construction completion, 7ACRES will be operating out of a 440,000 sq. ft facility with 300,000 sq. ft of production space. Today’s announced increase is important to the future of 7ACRES and will bring the Company closer to its targeted annual production capacity of 50,000 kgs later this year.
