Today, September 29th (2026), was a celebration day for several non-profit organizations in Saugeen Shores as the Rotary Huron Shore Run committee presented several donations to local groups.
The donations are part of the Rotary Huron Shore Run and a result of the event that is held each year in Southampton in June. This year saw almost 1,000 runners and walkers of all ages from across Ontario, and some from the United States, who registered for the 37th annual Rotary Huron Shores 2026 Run fundraiser that was held on June 6th.
Participants were encouraged to raise funds through pledges and, today (Sept. 29th), a final total of more than $65,000 was presented to local groups and the local Hospital Foundation.
