Port Elgin Royal Canadian Legion Branch 340 recently gave the Saugeen Shores Hospital Foundation a boost when it donated $5,000.
“The Legion believes in keeping quality health care close to home,” said past-President Dan Kelly. “Many of our members are of an age when health care is extremely important and to have a hospital in our community is essential.”

“We are very appreciative of the help that Legion Branch 340 has given us in the past and continues to provide,” said Tracy Murray, Foundation Executive Director. “These donations ensure that our equipment needs are met.”
Hospital equipment requirements are not funded by the Province and rely on donations from the community.
