Saugeen Shores Fire Service is about to host its first-ever Lights and Sirens Camp on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. at Station 50 in Southampton.
The Lights and Sirens Camp is a new youth program designed for children aged 12 to 13. Throughout the three-day camp, participants will have the opportunity to develop leadership skills, learn about fire safety and responsibility, physical and mental wellness, interact with community safety partners, gain first aid awareness, emergency preparedness and a variety of indoor and outdoor activities.
This exciting initiative provides local youth with a unique opportunity to learn from emergency service professionals while fostering teamwork, confidence, and community involvement.
