A View from the Kitchen Window in Tiverton

There is life of light in the darkness; if you just look.
With a full household, dishes are never ending. It’s a full-time job on it’s own.
Luckily for me though, I am blessed to be able to watch and listen to these beautiful creatures while doing them and let me tell you, there is never a dull moment. From their playful nature, their gorgeous colours, to their lovely songs and silly dances, dishes have become something I look forward to at the end of the day.
Most evenings, this adult male Rose-breasted Grosbeak likes to sit on the deck railing and watch me through the window while munching on some seeds. He likes to entertain by singing sweet and lovely songs and enjoys watching the sunset. I would also like to add, he is quite the model.
This female Rose-breasted Grosbeak loves to spend the mornings here exploring the backyard. She also is destined to go far in the modelling industry.

This Yellow Finch likes to hang around and look pretty.
These Baltimore Oriole’s love oranges. We have both the adult male and adult females come by in the mornings and eat the oranges the kids and I put out. It is such a delight to watch all of these beautiful birds.
Our neighbours have said, “keep doing what you are doing with these birds because we love watching them from our windows.”
We have also seen Blue Jays, Cardinals, blue and yellow finches (I think that is what they are), woodpeckers, just to name a few more that we have seen.
