It was perfect weather this year (2024) as more than 100 golfers tee-d off on Friday, August 9th at the Southampton Golf and Country Club for the annual Hope for Cancer golf fundraiser.
The 8th annual tournament FUNdraiser was again a sold-out event with all the funds raised staying local.

Organized by Stephanie McArthur, the golfers turned out to raise funds while having fun throughout the day. There were games and prizes and when golfers came off the green, there was a silent auction, 50/50 raffle and a BBQ dinner.

While a final total is not yet in, it is anticipated that more than $20,000 was raised for Cancer research.
