Break-ins to seasonal residences at Saugeen First Nation properties

 

On April 20, 2024, at 6:52 a.m., the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a break-in to a seasonal cottage on Ogimah Road, Saugeen First Nation.

Police attended and spoke to the complainant who advised that their shed had been broken into as well as several sheds and outbuildings on neighbouring properties.

Some of the stolen items include:

·      All terrain vehicle (ATV)
·      Boat motors
·      Landscaping equipment
·      Bicycles

The OPP is asking anyone who has a seasonal residence in this area to check their property and to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 if their residence or outbuildings have been entered and to report any missing property.
