Bruce Power and the Society of United Professionals have successfully completed Collective Bargaining negotiations. The parties reached a new tentative agreement on Sunday, August 11th.
The company believes the agreement is a win-win following extensive discussions to balance a number of considerations. Bruce Power is united and committed to continuing to be a source of reliable, low-cost and clean electricity for Ontario families and businesses for years to come.
Bruce Power has achieved great success since 2001 by establishing itself as a key source of electricity with the opportunity for a future through 2064. It’s been the people who have been central to this success and the company has always recognized its past and future success rest with the dedicated individuals who work at Bruce Power every day.
Bruce Power and the Society of United Professionals have been in Collective Bargaining negotiations since November 2018. The tentative agreement is subject to ratification by Society members.
