To combat the winter ‘blueberries’ the United Way of Bruce Grey in partnership with Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) and OSHARE are celebrating Pi Day!
On Saturday, March 14th at 8:00 a.m. until noon, Pie and Coffee will be served for $5 at the Owen Sound Farmers’ Market. You can help by pre-ordering your pie slice online.
Once you have purchased your tickets at www.donatetoday.ca and click on Pi Day, you will receive a link where you can indicate the flavour of pie you would like. Pre-ordering your slice of pie ensures we have enough of the flavour of pie for everyone’s taste … Dutch apple, Chocolate, Pumpkin, Cherry lattice, Banana cream and Key lime.
You can also order, in person, at the United Way, OSHARE, CMHA and Runners Den.
The Pi Run
Runners Den is taking its regular Saturday morning fun run and making it a Pi Run! The pie shaped 3.15 miles (5.05) circuit will take you up and around the north-east area of Owen Sound. The no-cost FUN run starts at the Runners Den and ends at the Farmers’ Market.
The first 10 runners back to the Farmers’ Market will have their slice of pie sponsored by the Grey Bruce Labour Council!
