With a tie of 1-1, the Silver Stick Bantam final came down to a shoot-out in overtime.
The game was a final in the Silver Stick tournament at the Plex in Port Elgin with Kincardine Kinucks facing off against the Tillsonburg Lightning.
The play was fast from one end of the ice to the other with both goalies playing exceptionally well, stopping and smothering the puck.
Despite an overtime sudden-death period, there was no break in the tie resulting in the shoot-out with Tillsonburg scoring the winning goal, but it was anybody’s game.
The Lightning took home the championship gold while Kincardine earned the silver.
