The Christmas Twinkling Tea Party held at the Chantry Centre +55 in Southampton on Saturday, December 26th was a great success.
The Bake Sale featured decadently delicious pastries produced by many accomplished bakers. Brian MacKay, the Centre’s only male baker, donated approximately seven dozen short bread cookies.
While the Bake Sale was popular, sandwiches, tarts, cakes and delectable cookies filled the tables for the tea as music was provided by Jo Tomori and Friends and Santa took the time to drop by.
The Chantry Centre for adults over 50 has become a popular hub of activities in the community and is always looking for new members.
From billiards to line dancing, crafts to woodworking, needle-working to Mahjong, there is something for almost every interest. For more information, call 519-797-3096.
