Fall has arrived and with it comes the award-winning Pumpkinfest in Port Egin (Saugeen Shores, where its “Family Fun, Second to None”.
It’s two days, October 3rd & 4th, filled with programming including not one but two International Giant Vegetable Weigh Off’s and, this year, everyone is looking for that world record GIANT PUMPKIN! It’s more than pumpkins though as visitors are always amazed at the giant squash, watermelon, tall sunflowers … and more!!
In downtown Port Elgin, the Cinderella’s Carriage Car show is one of Ontario’s largest two-day outdoor car shows where vehicles of all kinds line the streets. Then, there are local musicians and performers in the entertainment tent, Pumpkin Carving, Artist’s Village and Craft Show, the Midway, Kiddie Karnival and Petting Zoo. In other words, there is something for every age.
One of the show stoppers again this year is the Bruce Telecom Entertainment Stage on Sunday afternoon where anyone has the chance to showcase their talent at the Pumpkinfest Patch All Stars.

This year, the amazing Bob Cates takes to the stage on Saturday afternoon with Comedy in Motion, a show that is fast paced, highly interactive and uses situational comedy and advanced skills to keep audience members of all ages on the edge of their seats right to the very end.
This award-winning entertainer was twice awarded “Best Entertainer of the Year” at the Molson Canadian F.E.O. Awards and won the Most Difficult Trick Award at the RIT New York Juggling Festival.
