Firefighters serve a delectable delicious hot breakfast – rain or shine

What better way to start a weekend off than with a delicious breakfast on a Saturday morning, cooked and served by Saugeen Shores firefighters.

The Saugeen Shores Fire Department Association is hosting its annual Firefighters Breakfast to raise funds for their Junior Firefighters program, as well as for additional training and awareness for youth in our community.

The Junior Firefighters program has become an example in the Province for getting young students involved in the safety surrounding firefighting.

The annual popular delicious breakfast includes eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, hashbrowns, juice, coffee and tea … and all by donation.

Starting at 8:00 a.m. on May 28th, the breakfast held at the Port Elgin Fire Station runs through to 11:00 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis by donation and is a RAIN or SHINE event.

The Firefighters Association is a group of volunteer firefighters who raise money for families in need, as well as training and equipment for public education, and for firefighter appreciation. The Association’s members represent the Saugeen Shores Fire Department.
