Gran Fondo leaders are out in front

The fundraising goal continues to climb for the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation Gran Fondo but there’s still a long way to go to reach the goal of $100,000.

Monies raised go toward much-needed equipment for the hospital as the government does not provide funds for equipment.  To date, there are 16 teams registered and 36 individuals who have currently raised $20,879.70.

The three teams that are now leading are: Southampton Foodland at $4,640 of their $5,000 goal; Saugeen Shores Police at $3,503 of their goal of $5,000; Le Tour de Friends at $2,449 of their goal of $8,000.
