Kimberley West-Briggs appointed Interim Board Chair of Community Foundation Grey Bruce

The Community Foundation Grey Bruce Board of Directors has appointed Kimberley West-Briggs as Interim Chair for the next six months while current Chair Maureen Solecki steps away to perform her duties as interim president and CEO of Grey Bruce Health Services. As the Foundation enters its 25th Anniversary year with many special events and celebrations ahead, the Board is grateful to have Kimberley West-Briggs step into the role. She will serve as Chair through August, 2019.

Ms. West Briggs says, “I am extremely honoured to serve as Interim Chair for the Foundation. It is an organization that I hold an enormous amount of passion for. Over the years, I have witnessed the positive impact of the Foundation’s work benefiting those in need in our community. As we say at CFGB, we’re here for good and that is very rewarding.”

Kimberley West-Briggs was Chair of the Foundation previously from 2014 to 2016. This is her second term of office on the Board of Directors, having served from 1998 to 2005. West-Briggs has over 38 years of experience in the financial sector and recently retired as a Certified Financial Planner professional.
