Libraries partner with business during Library Month

October is Canadian Library Month!

During this month, libraries and library partners across Canada raise awareness of the valuable role libraries play in Canadians’ lives.

For the month of October, the Library has partnered with the Paisley Chamber of Commerce, Chesley Chamber of Commerce, Walkerton BIA, Wiarton Chamber of Commerce, and Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce to offer a Business Perks program.  Show your Bruce County Public Library card at any of the participating businesses in these communities to receive a special discount or perk.

Library Director Nicole Charles shares her enthusiasm for the program.  “We’re very excited about introducing this program with our business partners. This is another example of the great connections we’ve made within our communities.”

Want to find out more about the program and what businesses are involved?  Follow us on Facebook and Twitter as we feature local businesses throughout the month.  For a full listing of participating businesses, visit the Bruce County Public Library website:  library.brucecounty.on.ca
