The fundraising campaign continues for the Home of the Huston Hawks, G. C. Huston Public School’s new playground in Southampton.

On Tuesday, December 19th, local Southampton business, Square Deal Neil’s, donated $5,000 to the school’s playground fundraising effort.

Square Deal Neil’s, a locally owned-and-operated business since 1948, prides itself on providing after-sale personal service.

Owner of the local business, Edith Sinclair, said that she had actually been a student at G. C. Huston School.  “I have great memories of being a student at the school and firmly believe that it’s important that children should be outside playing and, therefore, we wanted to help support outdoor play activity through the new playground.”

As everyone who has attended the school says, “Once a Hawk, always a Hawk”!
