Thanks to several local businesses, the seniors’ Chantry Centre +55 has new picnic tables.
The tables will ensure that the Centre members can meet safely distanced outside for some events. Made of cedar, the tables are low maintenance and will ‘weather’ with age.
Sybil Mercer, past-President, says that she was thrilled with the response from the business community. “We want to thank all those who supported us especially in this time of having to make sure we maintain safe distances while still being able to get together.”
