The Games took place from August 11th to 15th in Medicine Hat, Alberta where more than 1,400 athletes, coaches and staff from across Canada took part in 10 summer sports including basketball, bocce, golf, powerlifting, rhythmic gymnastics, soccer, softball, swimming, and ten-pin bowling.

The National games were also a qualifier for the 2027 World Summer Games that will be held in Santiago, Chile.

“It was an amazing experience for them to show off their skills, build new friendships and have fun,” said coach Cheryl Smethurst. “Now it’s home for a little rest and then it’s back to training for winter sports.”
