MPP Bill Walker says retiring MP has been a strong voice for rural Ontario

ā€œI would like to congratulate and thank my colleague and friend, MP Larry Miller, for his long-time public service to the great people of Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound.

Larry is a proud Canadian, and has been a strong voice for local farmers, businesses, anglers and hunters and all of rural Ontario, ensuring that government programs and services truly serve the people first and foremost. I know that serving the people and being in public life is a lifestyle that represents a huge sacrifice for the family, and so on behalf of our constituents, and all Canadians, I extend our best wishes to Larry, his wife Darlene, and their entire family as they begin a new chapter in their life.

On a personal note, I would like to say thank you to Larry for his friendship, and especially for the collegiality, support and guidance he provided during our elected tenures. I believe we delivered a strong team of representation in our region and Iā€™m proud to have served alongside Larry during his time as MP.ā€
