The Town of Saugeen Shores will soon welcome Jim Bundschuh as the new Director of Corporate Services. Bundschuh is joining the Town after 13 years at County of Elgin as the Director of Financial Services, Purchasing, IT and Provincial Offences Courts. Prior to his municipal experience, he worked in the automotive industry improving systems and employee safety.
“We’re looking forward to having Jim play a key leadership role at the Town,” said Mayor Luke Charbonneau. “He has proven experience in the areas that were identified in our Municipal Service Delivery Review, such as modernizing municipal financial and budgeting processes, and collaborating with departments to identify and deliver on key performance measures.”
“I pride myself in fostering open and positive relationships with everyone I work with,” said Bundschuh. “I am confident my combined private and public sector experience will give me a fresh perspective that will help the Town prepare for growth, be more accountable to the community, and improve the quality of services we deliver.”
The Director of Corporate Services leads all activities associated with Finance, Information Technology and the Clerk’s office.
Bundschuh will start his new position at the Town on February 28, 2022.
