The Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Executive Director. Tracy Murray has been selected and has agreed to take up the post; replacing Sally Kidson who has served for 4 years and is retiring on November 30th.
Tracy brings with her a wealth of knowledge about hospital operations, public relations and fundraising. Her last position as project lead for Wingham & District Hospital is a natural stepping stone for her role with us.
Tracy’s educational background in Project Management and Business Administration gives us only a fraction of the skills and talent that she will be using in her new position. Her experience while volunteering with fundraisers and awareness campaigns in the area will be a great asset to the Foundation and the community. We are also excited about the amount of energy and enthusiasm that she is bringing, and the Board of Directors is looking forward to Tracy’s arrival.
Tracy is set to begin work in Southampton on October 29th and Sally has kindly offered to stay on to provide support and training during the transition until Sally’s official retirement.
