“Our pizzas are fresh, hot and simply irresistible,” says Gary Singh, co-owner of Port Elgin’s newest pizzeria – South Pizza.
Owners of two pizza outlets, Southampton Mini-mart and, now, Port Elgin South Pizza (in the Basics plaza), local Saugeen Shores Rotary Club and BIA member Singh, and his brother Jashan, know pizzas.
“We knew that we wanted to create our pizzas with many different toppings and that we wanted to access our ingredients locally whenever possible,” says Gary Singh.
Deliciously crafted with 22 toppings to choose from, every pizza is freshly stone-baked every day.
From fiery to veggie and gluten free, or create your own, there’s a pizza for every taste.
There are also many side-items to choose from such as wings, samosas and chicken Tikka, perfect as side dishes.
“We also provide the fastest possible delivery service in Port Elgin to ensure that our pizzas arrive hot out of the oven to our customers’ homes or businesses,” says Singh.
South Pizza also offers 24 flavours of scoop ice-creams perfect for that after-pizza dessert.
One satisfied customer said that she “loved” the pepperoni pizza. “The sauce is perfect and I loved the crust. It wasn’t thin or thick, just right and the mix of cheeses was perfect. Definitely on my menu and can’t wait to try other toppings.”
