The Saugeen Shores Hall of Fame is now accepting nominations for the 2026 Induction ceremony.
The Saugeen Shores Hall of Fame was created in 1999 and, since then, 49 candidates have had their accomplishments recognize and would not be sport specific but would be inclusive of the exploits of any and all from within Saugeen Shores.
The Rotary Club of Port Elgin is the curator/manager of the Saugeen Shores Hall of Fame and maintains fiscal control of all aspects of the Hall and shall benefit, for the purpose of Club projects, from any Hall profits and surpluses. In the case of surpluses, the Committee may request funds be directed to the maintenance of the Hall and/or specific Club projects.
The Saugeen Shores Hall of Fame Selection Committee is the sole organizational body responsible for the procedures, nominations, selections, and all proceedings pertaining to the inductions into the Hall and the induction events. The nomination, selection process and induction ceremony continues as a bi-annual event.
If you know a person, team, organization or event that warrants consideration for our June 3rd, 2026 Induction Ceremony at the Plex, a detailed list of accomplishments should be completed no later than the March 31, 2026 deadline. Nomination form is included.
