Northport Public School in Port Elgin continues to stand up and fundraise for the Terry Fox Marathon of Hope’s cancer research.
On Thursday, September 26th, the school ran round the track to raise funds with several goals. Grade five teacher Andrea Anions told her class that if they raised more than $300, she would be in a pickle … more than that, she would run as a pickle … and she did.
Although final tallies are not yet in, the totals raised have consequences … from teachers getting a pie in the face to having to dress up as a chicken or to kissing a goat.
