It is with disbelief and heart wrenching agony, that our family announces the passing of David Joseph Leddy, in his 52nd year.
David was born May 21, 1973.
Beloved and dear son of Sandra Stewart.
Proud father of Connor Joseph King Leddy.
Loving brother of Michelle Kahgee and favourite uncle of Kadin Kahgee.
David will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by his father, Danny Leddy; grandparents Raymond and Gertrude Leddy and Duncan and Kathleen Stewart.
David is known for his great sense of humour, caring heart and his innovative and intellectual mind. As a young boy David was comical, daring, and adventurous. David enjoyed spending time in nature, was an avid reader and loved cooking and baking. He was quick-witted, a conversationalist, and always had a joke in his back pocket. David would light up a room and always wanted to put a smile on people’s faces.
David was dearly loved by us and will be so greatly missed.
A celebration of David’s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion – Branch 340, Port Elgin (630 Green Street) on Saturday, April 5th, 2025 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Final resting place, Kincardine Cemetery.
