Robertson, Jean Luella (née Coates) 101 years and 6 months of age passed away on September 19, 2025 surrounded by family at the Southampton Hospital, after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her husband Beverley (1993). She leaves behind her son Wayne (Donna), daughters Elaine (Brian) and Diane (Kevin predeceased 2025). Proud Grandma of Jodi (Jay), Shannon (Jay), Corey (Betty Anne), Karen, Christopher (Melissa), Angela, Jason, Ashley, Jenna (Matt), Tatiana (Mike), Adam, Bradley and 14 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
In her later years, she enjoyed playing Bridge and Euchre and meeting many new friends at the Plex, The Chantry Center and with the Sauble Sandpipers.
Jean was living independently with support from Home and Community Services.
The family is most appreciative of the support of Moureen and Michelle (Home and Community Care), the VON, the Paramedic Services, Ken Middleton, Tammie Martens, Kimberly McNab and her longtime neighbour Wanda Dzerzenowski.
A Celebration of Life was held on Friday, September 26th at Eagleson Funeral Home, with a time of refreshment and fellowship following in Bevan Hall at St. Paul’s Anglican Church.
On April 20, 2024, she celebrated her 100th birthday surrounded by family and friends at the Chantry Senior Centre in Southampton. There she reminisced about her early life and interests.
