On February 20th (2025) at approximately 3:55 p.m., Saugeen Shores Police were dispatched to a report of a fire at a residential address in the 300 block of Bricker Street, Port Elgin.
Saugeen Shores Fire Services and Paramedics also attended and were able to extract an adult female from the second story of the home. She was transported by Paramedics to Hospital for further medical assessment.
No other people were located within the home.
According to police, the fire is not considered suspicious.
